To create this rare attar, carefully selected sun-baked clay from the fertile plains of India is shaped into small earthen pieces and baked in traditional kilns. These clay pieces are then placed in copper degs (distillation vessels) and slowly hydro-distilled. The aromatic vapors travel through bamboo pipes into a receiving vessel filled with pure sandalwood oil, which gently absorbs the earthy fragrance.
